Matt Granstrom's work is characterized by a fascination with organic life and spontaneous manifestation. They are mutations of mundane outdoor scenes and occur seemingly out of thin air. Some characters seem to surface out of the terrestrial world. Others are buried deep in the hazy subconscious caverns of the world.
